K2 Snowboarding has kicked off a new video series, and with that, a contest. “Seek & Enjoy Sessions: Whistler” is a 4-part web series about the place, process, creativity, and good times of K2 and its riders. With episode one already making its debut, K2 will be dropping one episode per week from now until December 12, with three fans winning swag simply by answering the following question: “Why did you start snowboarding?” The 1st, 15th, and 25th to respond will win. Then, on December 18, K2 will randomly choose the winner of a whopper of a grand prize: a free snowboarding trip to Whistler for this season.
“The series really digs down into why we snowboard, what drives us, and what fuels our passion for the sport here at K2,” said Hunter Waldron, K2 Snowboarding’s Global Marketing Director. “Whistler is a playground for all types of riding and our team of athletes and videographers combed the place over to create a video series that has a feel-good vibe.”

SEATTLE, Wash. (Nov. 18, 2013) – K2 Snowboarding is bringing the stoke to the season. Today, the established snowboard industry leader unleashes the first episode of its new, four-part web series “Seek & Enjoy Sessions: Whistler.” The artistically-shot series documents the place, process, creativity, and good times that define K2’s passion for snowboarding. From the accessible backcountry terrain to the perfectly sculpted park features and the cold beers at the end of the day, Whistler provides the ideal setting for K2’s pro rider team who dedicate each day with going out and enjoying their “jobs.”
Episode one – “Seek & Enjoy Sessions: Place” – kicks things off with epic backcountry riding and fun with friends. New episodes will release every week through Dec. 12, and each week K2 will be giving away free swag to three (3) lucky fans. On Dec. 18, K2 will announce the winner of the grand prize – a free snowboarding trip to Whistler during the 2014 season.
To become eligible to win during each episode, get involved by answering the following question: Why did you start snowboarding? It’s simple.
— 1st fan to respond = limited Seek & Enjoy tee and beanie.
— 15th fan to respond = limited Seek & Enjoy beanie.
— 25th fan to respond = limited Seek & Enjoy tee.
The grand prize winner will be chosen at random on Dec. 18 and notified of their free winter shred trip to Whistler, B.C. via email and announced through K2’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter channels. The grand prize includes … a lot.
Participants must be 19 years of age to enter and agree to the Rules and Regulations.
