Mark April 14th, 2015 as the day that snowboarding changed—for better or for worse—forever. The quadruple cork is a trick that has been gathering debate over the past year as to whether that was even possible and if it was, would it be good for snowboarding?

We have now reached the point of no return.

Billy Morgan, on a shoot in Livingo, Italy has become the first snowboarder to land the quad cork; a backside 1800 quadruple cork to be specific. With this historic stomp, competitive snowboarding will undoubtedly follow in its path. X Games 2016 will be surrounded by the hype of, “Who will land the first quadruple cork in competition?” However, setting doomsayers and critics aside, this trick is impressive as hell. Congratulations Billy.
