Never Summer Nokhu Board
Sizes: 152, 155, 158, 161, 161 Drag Free
If you’ve ever ridden Never Summer’s Harpoon (which we highly recommend) and are ready to step into the future of what the brand’s engineers have up their sleeves, you’re looking for the Nokhu. As at home in powder as it is trenching groomers, this board is quintessentially Never Summer.

What do I mean? The dampening is like no other. The Nokhu eats up vibrations and chatter so you don’t have to deal with it. Overall, the core has a predominantly rockered profile and features Never Summer’s Triple Camber Fusion, which puts a positive-camber pocket in the waist of the board, situated between two reverse-camber sections, and another positive pocket underfoot, then reverses out toward the tip and tail. What does this mean for how the Nokhu performs? While riding powder, you’re not fighting against positive camber to lift the nose. This thing is effortless, yet powerful in powder. Energy comes from the positive pockets, which load with potential, then explode when you need it. With this same board, you can carve relaxing pow turns, blast ollies and wrestle big landings, thanks to the rocker profile and the energy that emits from its waist.
Not everyone gets to regularly enjoy the spoils of powder, though, and on piste the Nokhu is just as fun. Elongated tip and tail blends allow the Nokhu to glide through turn initiations, its wider shape makes high-angle edging possible and that positive camber in the waist sends energy out of the tail for an incredibly smooth but thrilling carving experience. We also want to point out that the triple-cambered boards we’ve ridden hold an edge like no other, which is especially evident on heel-edge turns. The Nokhu rips.
