Performance Review

First Impression. Gilson awarded their young rider from Minnesota, Jack Hendrickson, his own pro model, and it’s a true twin in every sense of the term. Zero taper, zero setback, and soft for “rail-first” performance.
Edge Hold. Designed as a soft, rail-first deck, the JCK has just enough sidecut in the 153 to hold a proper edge from jump to jump. Given Jack’s roots in Minnesota, the board isn’t about laying down trenches. It’s about technical rail wizardry, first and foremost.
Edge Transition. Edge-to-edge transitions are quick and lively. Since the JCK is designed to be ridden on the shorter side, it’s easy to make those subtle adjustments when you’re threading your way through a rail line. Quick feet and quick response—that’s the name of the game.
Drive // Pop. The hybrid camber has rocker between the bindings and camber underfoot, allowing for great pop both on and off rails and jumps alike. Similar to other Gilson boards, the JCK has fantastic, snappy rebound when flexed and released. Bottom line: this thing has pop for days!
Nimbleness & Predictability. The JCK comes with a flat base versus their 3D edge, so it rides like a traditional snowboard and gets back to basics like a true twin should.
Stability at Speed. This isn’t the board you grab when you’re trying to break the sound barrier. The JCK is built for technical riding, rope-tow laps, and stacking as many park laps as humanly possible.
Fun Factor. This is where the JCK shines. It’s playful, light, and absolutely built to destroy the park. The lightweight feel makes spins effortless, while the soft flex lets you get creative without fighting the board.
The Deep Dive
Who is this board for? Park rats who would rather spend all day lapping the terrain park than chasing speed records. It’s soft, forgiving, and built to help you level up your rail game.
Overall Impression. If you’re not familiar with Jack Hendrickson, go check his IG and get a glimpse of where snowboarding is headed. The JCK captures that progressive mindset in board form. It’s a true twin for riders who spend as much time riding switch as they do regular, with plenty of pop for the jumps. But when you start pressing, blunting, and getting sideways, that’s when the JCK really comes alive.
