My very first run of my life was at Mammoth Mountain, I was three years old. The trail was called Sesame Street. All these years later, I still have great memories of those very first runs on Sesame Street. So much so, those turns became the foundation for my entire career in snowboarding and I owe it all to my parents who showed me the ropes and patiently showed me how to get to Sesame Street. This touch of nostalgia was the inspiration for the collaboration between Gilson Snowboards and Sesame Street. And now there is a series of boards with graphics featuring all our favorites like Cookie Monster, Oscar the Grouch, Bert and Ernie and Big Bird.
Additionally, the series ranged is sizes from 100cm for the young ones and all the way up to 165W for the young at heart. On the technical side, the retro line is constructed with flat to rocker shape for catch free and playful.
