There’s a majesty to the Alps that is simply unmatched. Towering, white-capped peaks hold incredible terrain unlike anywhere else in the world—vast bowls, tight chutes, surfy windlips, and thousands of vertical feet of pure freeride paradise. With a landscape this vast, it’s the ultimate place to score endless powder.
Photographer Thomas Stöckli embarked on a mission this past winter to meld five top powder boards with the endless nooks and crannies of the Alps. This visual exploration is a beautiful marriage of three of our favorite things: snowboards, powder, and photography.
