Not just a colorway, artist series, or pro model, the new Smith Lift Collection is a collaboration between Smith and The North Face team riders, Jess Kimura and Erik Leon, that tells a story of community connection brought to life by Jess and Erik’s respective contributions to the sport.

While these two riders work to advocate and act to reduce barriers to access and create visibility in snowboarding, it was a no-brainer that Smith brought them together at the drawing table. The collection features helmet and goggle combos that fuse with a TNF outerwear kit.

The subdued color palette seen on the Code Helmet and Squad XL Goggles becomes interchangeable with the addition of various graphics designed by Sandro Young. The graphics tell a story of connection, sustainability, growth, and impact as they appear throughout the collection. Erik’s work with CORE may differ from what Jess does with The Uninvited, but the two are customarily allied within the Lift line both on and off snow. – Ally Watson
