The Burton US Open Qualifiers are a wrap, with six men and six women per discipline now set to compete in the 32nd Burton US Open in Vail, CO MArch 3rd- March 8th, 2014. Chase Josey and Summer Fenton held it down in the halfpipe, while Zach Normandin and Asami Hirono took the top spots for the men’s and women’s slopestyle qualifiers.

Seven Springs, PA (February 3, 2013) – The Burton US Open Snowboarding Qualifiers presented by MINI concluded today after two incredible days of slopestyle and halfpipe competition at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Pennsylvania. At the event, the six best men and three women per discipline earned a coveted spot to compete against some the world’s best riders at the iconic 32nd annual Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships in Vail, Colorado from March 3rd – March 8th, 2014, as well as valuable 4star World Snowboard Tour points and a piece of the $20,000 prize purse.

Under foggy, drizzly skies, top men and women put down some big runs during the halfpipe competition yesterday and will join the winners from Saturday’s bluebird slopestyle event in Vail.
