Tiehack Express – $ 7 million improvement

The new Tiehack Express, a Leitner Poma high speed quad at Tiehack on Buttermilk, will replace two lifts –  both the Eagle Hill and the Upper Tiehack lifts – bringing two lifts down to one and cutting the combined ride time from 18 minutes to just under 7 minutes.  Construction is well underway and this $7 million project will be up and running by Buttermilk’s Opening Day, December 10, 2011.  New gladed terrain in this area will enhance the intermediate and advanced terrain accessed by this lift.
