Burton Drops a Fresh Line of Bags & Apparel and Introduces New ‘Bag Check’ Digital Tool
Burton has a brand new line of bags and apparel hitting authorized dealers around the globe this week – just in time for vacation, road trips and snowboard camp. The foundation of the collection is over 90 new bag and luggage styles, all backed by a sweet new online tool launched this week on Burton.com called ‘Bag Check’.
Burton’s new bags are designed to carry everything from laptops and skateboards to snowboards and a month’s worth of clothes. Road tested by Burton’s team of pro riders who travel year-round, every new travel bag, snow pack, photo pack, transit bag or ‘BYO’ bag can weather months of planes, trains and on-the-move adventures.
To help users find the perfect bag, Burton also just launched ‘Bag Check’, an interactive product discovery experience that helps consumers select the right bag from hundreds of styles and features. First, users decide what type of bag they want. Then Bag Check digs deeper, asking if they are bringing a laptop, a snowboard, camera lenses, beverages and/or a slew of other options. Finally, Bag Check offers up styles that best fit the consumer’s needs – from professional photography bags to luggage that can hold a week’s worth of gear, setting them up for any and all elements of the journey. After they’ve found the perfect bag, users can then share their results on Facebook. To learn more about Bag Check try it out at www.burton.com/bagcheck
“This Bag Check tool is a pretty sick way to figure out what’s good for you, because trust me I know that bags are definitely a personal thing,” said Burton team rider Mark Sollors. “I’m always on the road, so I basically live out of my Burton packs and luggage. The bags are so well designed – there’s a place to put everything from snowboards and boots to clothes and your computer, all of which I need. So whatever one you choose, I know you’ll be good to go.”
In addition to all the new bags, Burton also released a fresh new offering of apparel and jackets that are team favorites on and off the hill. Feature styles include the Men’s 2.5L Atmore Jacket and Women’s Travertine Jacket, the latest choices in Burton’s growing transitional outerwear line. Bright, seasonal colors and plaids can also be found throughout the line – especially on pieces such as the Men’s Ruckus Hooded Flannel and the Women’s Starr Vest. The collection is rounded out with new editions of Burton’s ever-popular tees and hoodies, featuring an array of new colors and graphics.
