Alli Sports has announced the musical lineup for the first Dew Tour of the season, going off December 12-15 in Breckenridge, CO. Headlining the event is Fitz and the Tantrums, with a showcase of the season’s top movies also being presented for Recognize: Film. Topping off the Dew Tour entertainment trifecta is the Nike Snowboarding Streetstyle competition, which will bing 12 of the top riders down to Breck’s main street for a jam session.

New York – November 19, 2013 – The Dew Tour today announced that modern pop combo Fitz and the Tantrums will headline the music lineup for the iON Mountain Championships, December 12-15 in Breckenridge, Colo. In addition, the weekend will also feature the return of Recognize: Film, the Dew Tour’s action sports film event, and the Nike Snowboarding Streetstyle competition. Tickets for all events are on sale now.
CONCERT
Fitz and the Tantrums, accompanied by a special guest, will be shaking the stage at the Riverwalk Center (150 W. Adams Ave.) in downtown Breckenridge on Saturday, December 14 at 8 p.m. Co-lead vocalists Michael “Fitz” Fitzpatrick and Noelle Scaggs have developed their own creative sound, fusing together elements of soul, pop, electronic, indie, with a touch of hip-hop. Fitz and the Tantrum’s breakthrough album, Pickin’ Up The Pieces, quickly climbed to number one on the Billboard’s Heatseekers chart. The band joins the Dew Tour after the recent release of their second album, More Than Just A Dream, featuring instant classics such as “The Walker” and “Out of My League”. RECOGNIZE: FILM
The iON Mountain Championships will host Recognize: Film, showcasing the past season’s most notable films in the ski and snowboard industry, and paying homage to successes of athletes and videographers outside of competition. Guests of Recognize: Film, held at the Riverwalk Center on Thursday, December 12, will enjoy video segments from the biggest films for the year, remastered just for the Dew Tour. Attendees will hear live commentary from the directors, producers and athletes involved in each movie. All proceeds for Recognize: Film will be donated to SOS Outreach, a youth development nonprofit that fosters self-confidence, leadership and decision-making in underserved youth. SOS programs are unique in their use of adventure sports to engage participants for future success. NIKE SNOWBOARDING STREETSTYLE
Bringing the competitions off the mountain, 12 of the top pro riders will hit Washington Avenue in a jam session format. Dew tour will recreate street elements in a showcase of another style of snowboarding with the Nike Snowboarding Streetstyle competition. The Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships is free to attend, giving fans access to the best snowboarding and freeskiing competitions and the Dew Tour Experience, a first class consumer zone featuring autograph signings, giveaways and more.
NBC and NBCSN will feature more than four hours of live coverage of the Dew Tour iON Mountain Championships, from Breckenridge, Colo. Coverage begins Saturday, December 14 at Noon ET on NBC, and continues through the weekend on NBC and NBCSN. All practice, qualifying, and finals will be streamed live on DewTour.com.
