Here’s an update from tour organizers:

Event organizers have announced the SWATCH FREERIDE WORLD TOUR BY THE NORTH FACE® (FWT) competition will not take place Sat., March 1 as a result of weather. Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is currently experiencing snowstorms, which create difficult visibility for athletes, judges, and film production. However, the snow should provide perfect competition conditions once it stops.

First and foremost, FWT is committed to providing a safe and quality environment for the tour’s athletes. The weather window is open through March 5, and the confirmed competition day will be announced 24 hours prior to the start. The festivities schedule for Friday will remain unchanged.
