From Vans:
Costa Mesa, CALIF. (Oct. 1, 2021) – Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is excited to present the latest update to the Infuse snowboard boot, influenced by Snow team rider Arthur Longo.

Arthur has made his name synonymous with pushing the limits of what is possible on a snowboard—and having the most fun while doing it. Whether tackling the backcountry or a cat track side hit, his riding showcases the sheer joy he gets from being out on the snow. Seeking a boot that can handle the full spectrum of his pursuits, Arthur collaborated with Vans on an update to the Infuse snow boot, injecting a healthy dose of colorful, happy elements, and several upgraded performance features into this tried-and-true boot.

Designed for unparalleled adaptability and performance no matter the arena, the Infuse by Arthur Longo is loaded with top-shelf features, including V3 UltraCush TNF FlashDry™ Liner, an interior cushioning layer with a dual-density, heat-moldable core and closed-seam microsuede cuff and tongue.  Comfort and support are at the forefront of the Infuse experience, thanks to a V3 POPCUSH™ footbed, featuring an OrthoLite® open-cell foam top layer, a TPU arch support heel clip for stability, advanced 3D molded anatomical shape, airflow perforations and a Nylex moisture-wicking top sheet. V3 UltimateWaffle™ outsole offers versatile traction, while the Vans Flex Control System provides the ability to custom-tune the flex of the boot with removable, high-rebound Hyrtel tongue stiffeners for increased lateral or medial response.

New to the Infuse by Arthur Longo boot is a waterproof zipper shroud, D-Ring gaiter hooks, and one-way breathable valves. A new stabilizing heel counter and two-piece molded plastic toe cap with knurled rubber overlay provide ultimate protection and grip when hiking or on your sled.

Arthur’s signature colorway is based in marshmallow and black, with striking red and light lavender pops across the Sidestripe, liner and outsole, and finished with a debossed Vans logo and Arthur’s signature across the external tongue and a custom patch signifying that the boot was designed in California in 2021.

The snow boot is supported by Arthur’s signature marshmallow and black UltraRange EXO Hi Gore-Tex MTE-3, tying in the same bright red detailing from the Infuse. The UltraRange EXO Hi represents Vans’ most technically advanced and purpose-built, all-weather product, and features a Gore-Tex waterproof package, plus 3M Thinsulate cold weather thermal material topreserve body heat and keep feet nice and warm. An aggressive outsole tread pattern with Vans’ new All-Trac™ rubber compound grips anything from wet city streets to unpredictable trails and features toe-picking treads and a higher toe bumper for protection. Finally, UltraCush™ dual-density midsole provides cushioning and support with an OrthoLite® topsheet and molded EVA footbed.

As one of the strongest and most versatile riders in the game, Arthur Longo possesses a seemingly effortless, super-calm style. Attacking all types of terrain with equal ability, Arthur makes next level riding look relatable. Born in Les Duex Alpes, France, and splitting his time between his hometown and Berlin, Germany, Arthur has leveraged his background in pipe to pursue pushing the boundaries of both backcountry and on-resort snowboarding, as can be seen in his award-winning series SHE. Not just pigeonholed to one creative outlet, Arthur is an artist, music lover, and film producer.
