Gear Up: Pump tunes anywhere with Nixon’s The Blaster

nixon-blaster-bluetooth-speaker

With the release of The Blaster, Nixon has created its first bluetooth speaker system that took home an accessories award at 2013 ISPO awards.

With help from the Nixon team, The Blaster was designed for the on-the-go lifestyle and boasts a seamless rubber construction that is made to withstand the elements. Both waterproof and shockproof, The Blaster is perfect for the beach, boat, snow and skate park. And with its 33-foot bluetooth range, you never have to deal with messy, inconvenient cords to pump tunes when you want them most.

It weighs only 18.5 ounces (just over a 1 LB), can hold 12+ hours (we are seeing 18 on the interwebs) of battery life and comes in 5 colors including all black, red pepper (shown), marina blue, white/black and surplus/black. It’s precision-tuned acoustics make for bumping sound quality and low distortion at any level and is integrated with a microphone for hands-free wireless voice calls so you don’t have to disconnect your music when you’re lady friend is calling to check in (just don’t answer). And if you’re living in the stone age, Nixon threw in an auxiliary cord so you cave men don’t feel left out.

Price: $150
