Max Parrot wins 2014 X Games Big Air [Gallery]

With Mark McMorris backing out to focus on slopestyle and Torstein Horgmo not making it into finals, Big Air Gold was truly up for grabs. After an 18-minute jam session, first time Big Air competitor Max Parrot stepped up for a proper throw down,  stomping a backside triple 1620 and a cab triple cork 1440 and taking the Gold. Japanese rider Yuki Kadono ended the night with a silver while Norway’s Stale Sandbech held onto third.
