Queensbridge MC and The king of New York, NAS, thoroughly entertained a SOLD OUT crowd by surprising everyone and playing classic tracks off of his “Illmatic”, “Stillmatic”, “God Son”, and “It Was Written” albums mixed in with his modern day hits. Shredded Beats is a quarterly concert event series that was originally designed and created by Pat Milbery and the rest of the So-Gnar Creative Division back in 2006 to tie in the cultures of Music, Visual Art, Snowboarding and Skateboarding. This quarters installment was stacked with trend setting MC’s/DJ’s along with the legendary NAS featuring DJ Green Lantern, Justin Bua painting live, Dillon Cooper, Sol, The ReMINDers, Abstract Collective, Black Pistol Fire, Reason The Citizen, DJ Luckyiam and Typhy with Furbie Cakes. Other outside mural painting was provided by DREAD and Mike Graves, who both painted their own interpretation of the legend NAS. It was a one of a kind, intimate night and we want to thank everyone who came out to enjoy the show!
