About Spencer's Setup

Canadian rider, Spencer O’Brien has claimed medals at X-Games, 2nd at the U.S. Open and 1st at Winter Dew Tour. She also has starred in female shred movies like Runway Film’s La La Land and Misschief's Ro Sham Bo. These are just a few of her numerous accomplishments, and besides killing it in the comp and film scene, this young 23 year old's shred kit is dialed.

Spencer rides the Burton Blender any day in the park to throw down her rodeo 540s and switch back sevens; and on a powder day it’s her Burton Easy Easy Living or Burton Malolo. What she’s really excited about are her Nike Vapen boots. “The Vapens are my favorite boot. They're soft and forgiving but have the right amount of response. I've got the purple colorway, and the swoosh glows in the dark.” When is the last time you had boots (or shoes for that matter) that glow in the dark? Yeah, that’s sick. She accompanies her luminous footwear with her Burton Lexa EST bindings, those of which have B3 Gel Cushioning for smooth landings and shock absorption.

Spencer’s favorite jackets include the Nike 6.0 Vashi Down jacket and the Nike 6.0 Bellevue jacket. “The Bellevue is one of my favorite jackets in the line." Ads Spencer. "I rode in just the shell for most of the spring, but when it would get a bit colder I could throw on the vest and feel like I was wearing a puffy. It's the perfect transition piece.” For her pants, it’s all about the Nike 6.0 Shucram Bibs.

Under her outerwear, Spencer rocks the Nike 6.0 Thermal Henley shirt and the Nike 6.0 Luxe Layer pants to keep her warm and comfy. As far as the rest of her accessories go, she’s pretty stoked on her Dragon Rogue Goggles for her eyewear, and her Clast Knitted Neckwarmer and Fleece Hood. Says Spencer, “All the Clast gear is amazing, but the Knitted Neckwarmer is so cozy. It's by far my favorite.”
