SEATTLE, Wash. (Nov. 14, 2013) –

Tedore started his career in snowboarding as a professional rider for Nitro Snowboards from 1998-2005. After earning a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Nevada-Reno, Tedore landed at K2 Snowboarding where he was a product development engineer for more than five years. During his tenure at K2, Tedore was responsible for many groundbreaking snowboard designs, including one of the first rockered snowboards – the K2 Gyrator. Sean returns to K2 Sports as Ride Snowboards’ global brand director after a three-year stint with CAPiTA Snowboards where he was the U.S. marketing and product development manager for the brand.

“Ride has been at the forefront of the snowboard industry for more than 20 years and it’s a great honor to become its brand director,” said Tedore. “Growing up, the Ride brand has always been an inspiration to my snowboarding. From the early days of the Ride-produced Toy Soldiers movie, to the dynamic team of Rehberg, Ford, Winfield, and Blattner, Ride has always been on the forefront of progression. I am looking forward to continuing the tradition and expanding on it in the years to come.”

Tedore will begin his position at Ride on Nov. 21.
