The ultimate marriage of mountains and music, March 4-6, Vail Valley, CO.

AVON, COLORADO – Quickly making a name for itself as the coolest music experience on earth, the producers of the Snow Ball Music Festival (March 4-6, 2011, Vail Valley, CO) announce today a full lineup of artists scheduled to play the event, including The Flaming Lips, Pretty Lights, Bassnectar and many more. Tickets and travel packages – which offer discounted lodging and lift tickets for festival goers – are on sale now through the festival website, http://

Striking a balance between marquee headliners and indie up-and-comers, the festival’s organizers hope to create an event that anyone can enjoy. The key to the festival, according to Executive Producer Chad Donnelly, is to completely submerse yourself in the environment of this unique event. “At Coachella,” says Donnelly, “most people wake up after a huge night of music and partying, jump in the pool and relax in the sun all day…For our attendees, the scope of activities is entirely different…people will have the opportunity to ski and snowboard at two of the top resorts in the world,” and by night they can experience some of the best musicians and DJs the music industry has to offer.

Artists confirmed to date to play at the Snow Ball Music Festival:
Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, The Flaming Lips, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Lotus Local Natives, DIPLO, Eoto, Savoy, Big Gigantic, Portugal, The Man Classixx, Paper Diamond, 12th Planet, Miami Horror, Brother Ali, Sam Adams, Mansions on the Moon, Twin Shadow Baths,

With the basic concept of the event grounded in the marriage of mountain sports and music, the Snow Ball Music Festival offers the opportunity to combine festival tickets and ski passes for those who seek the full spectrum of what the weekend has to offer; and for those less interested in hitting the slopes, the festival also offers tickets in a range of prices from VIP to weekend packages.
