I love the caption I was flipping through the new GQ with Lebron on the cover, minding my own, reading about the trials and tribulations of the wealthy, thirty-something man, when I come across the Ralph Lauren ad. Who do I see? None other than pro shred outta Mt. Hood Mr. Johnnie Paxson. I had seen one of the photos on his Facebook that someone had tagged a few weeks back but thought it was an old. I knew Johnnie was scouted and I had heard shot a few ads for Abercrombie or something like that but seeing him in print in Ralph Lauren in GQ was simply amazing. If you got the looks flaunt it right? And if you can make some real dollars beyond the chump change that is snowboarding money than by all means do it. Johnnie's a friend of mine so I'm hoping he won't get mad at me for posting this. I'm not talking shit. It just makes me laugh because I know him, and also because snowboarding is basically the complete opposite of the modeling industry. Do your thing J Pax. And keep killing it on a shred stick too.
