A top selling board this season and probably next, the Lib Tech Skate Bananas. Words: Tawnya Schultz / Pics: SNOWBOARD Mag crew As day three crept upon us our brains began not functioning as efficiently as they had the prior few days. The lights, the alcohol, the lack of sleep, the noise, the people…it really does begin to wear a person down. Thursday however was the big night, the SNOWBOARD Mag party with GZA, so there was only one possibility: regroup and rally!

SNOWBOARD Assistant Editor Nate Deschenes resting up. The Love Sac’s in The Yard were occupied throughout the day and so were the massage chairs. Many people just couldn’t deal anymore and simply passed out wherever they could including our Assistant Editor Nate Deschenes. For our laughing enjoyment and to raise some dollars for Boarding for Breast Cancer Utah shred Aaron Biittner took a turn in the dunk tank. Aaron was taken down by both Louie Vito and Anne Flore Marker among a line of many others. Anne dunked Aaron on her first try.

The bright Salomon line. Later in the afternoon I was reprimanded for driving a motorized cart because apparently I wasn’t “injured.” One of the heads of SIA stopped me and began an interrogation in the middle of the show. From what he said they aren’t going to allow “us,” meaning anyone from SIA, to rent them next year due to someone running into a pregnant lady the day before, ghost riding the whip, and also tying chairs on to the back. After dealing with that my hangover began wearing me down and since I had only slept two hours the night before I couldn’t focus much longer. Check out a bunch of product shots and funny personality pics from the rest of the show. And don’t worry the party post will be up soon!
