Video from Saas Fee

Oh Yes, that’s right, my computer got smashed… But Saas Fee is a sweet place and it will take more than that to get me down. More scenery and mountain chalets. This has to be one of the most scenic mountain towns. I am not sure what this is all about. Back up the two trams and underground railway for some more shredding and testing of K2s 08 line. On top of the world, one hour later… I think this was Danny Larsen, but it is hard to tell from my crappy, far away angle. Eero Niemala method. Eero has got some good style and skills in the park and the pipe. John Laing warms up for Mt. Baker’s opening day. Although I am not sure how riding the pipe will get him ready for that. Louie Fountain definately still has the skills on this FS 9 chucker. Louie is the man. After riding we do a round table. Pretty interesting talking with the K2 crew, Super Shops and Mag folks. Then we go to this crazy Swiss resturant that is like part zoo and… part Lobster tank for livestock. Pick your own chicken… That’s right… well at least something like that. It’s the most ballinest shit ever. To cap things off, I bust out a bottle of Duty Free Patron. Frode is scared when bottle #2 comes out. Pete from The House takes on Gretchen Blieler in a little arm wrestling match up. Bridges blows an Absinthe fireball. Gretchen, Quinner and JC hit full party mode. So does Tim Hamilton. Then some dancing on tables in the bar/snowboard shop called Popcorn. Patron will even G-Out a Black Metal head like Danny Larsen. Ballin’. Instead of taking it too far, I hang out with Bergeri and talk mag stuff. Good guy. The next day we blow the dust off and head down to Zurich. Tess from Pleasure and his sister, K2 AM Steph. Bridges… mmmmhmmm. Dirksen is very continental. One last sweet dinner. Pumpkin soup, beef tar tar and filet. Then we got the group photo… very memorable trip. Thanks guys. But a trip to Zurich would not be complete without a stop by the Kon Tiki. We listen to a few Motorhead, Madball, Maiden, QOTSA and Hatebreed songs while drinking Czech Budweiser, the Original Bud-var. Brandon and Alex with our host at the Kon Tiki. (this ones for you Joel.) Overall it was a great trip full of many memories. K2 has some very cool innovations coming down the pipeline for 08- and Bridges and I both came away suitably impressed. As did most everyone else. I have been a lot of places but this is one for the books. Good to hang out with old friends like Bridges and Alex and make some new ones along the way. Thanks again for the good times.
