Roxy XOXO: Easily one of my favorite topsheet graphics of the year, and let’s be honest, we all pick our boards based on the graphics. Simple, muted tones. Women’s board or not, Chloe Kim puts about 1260% more stress than me on any board, so if it holds up for her, I think it can handle my subpar carving down the mountain. $429.99 sizes: 145, 152 Burton Free Thinker: Throwback graphics in an updated true twin body approved by Danny Davis, himself–Free Thinker? More like no brainer. Not only do you get a board that can pop and destroy anything down the mountain, you get a piece of art to look at between your feet from Scott Lenhardt, who has designed over fifty graphics in the Burton line over the years. $599.95 sizes: 150, 154, 157, 160, 157W, 160W Arbor Westmark Frank April Edition: If you can’t tell by now, most of my wishlist picks are graphic-based. Frank April opened up a pizza shop called Pizzeria des Battures this past summer (you can read about it in our upcoming print issue), so it only makes sense that Arbor honored his new adventure with a board that looks as good as it rides. The money for this snowboard supports a snowboarder, who supports snowboarding, so it is full circle for the holidays—just like pizza. $499.99 sizes: 150, 153, 156 Ride Fuse Boot Spencer Schubert Colorway: I spent last season in the Ride Fuse boot, and I have to say, it is one of the best boots I have ever ridden. As the holidays are about tradition, why not have a traditional lace (with a bit of the new hybrid BOA system hidden on the inside)? With a new colorway designed by Spencer Schubert on this high-performance freestyle boot, I would love to get my hands on a pair this season. $359.95

Ride A9 Binding: The Ride A9 has such a compact, sleek design. I absolutely love it. The footprint of the binding over the board is drastically narrower than with any other binding, so your board can flex more freely as it was designed to do. Plus, the dual-density heel straps are next-level comfy. The A9 is incredibly light and blends just the right amount of responsiveness with flexibility. $369.95 Vans Hi-Standard Linerless Boot: Liners are great, but they get in the way of a boot being able to flex freely. If you like to tweak, these are your boots. To make up for a lack of a liner, they offer slightly thicker foam insulation, which makes them incredibly comfortable. If you’ve been chasing an early 90’s grab, but just can’t find the flexibility in your boot to make it happen, pick up a pair of Linerless Hi-Standards. $149.99 Rome Vice Binding: If surfing snow is your vibe, the Rome Vice’s medium-flex highback, super cushy heel strap, and Asymwrap chassis are what you’re looking for. The Asymwrap heel hoop delivers the heel-edge gripping power to shred hard, but leaves the outstep of your foot unobstructed for getting out over those presses or poking your grabs to the max! $289.95 Never Summer Protoslinger: One thing that applies to all Never Summer boards is that they absolutely rip. The Protoslinger rips times infinity. The asymmetric sidecut, which gives the board a balanced feel whether on your toe or heel edge and the Shockwave rocker/camber profile is fun and playful at lower speeds, but is every bit as aggressive as you need it to be when you’ve switched to launch mode. $569.99 Sizes: 149, 153, 156, 154X, 157X, 160X

Burton Custom: What can I say about this trustworthy classic? It’s the board that safely guided me over the Tioga road gap which led to my first-ever published shot. I will forever be indebted to the Burton Custom. It can slash, it can carve, and believe me when I say it can jump. Enough said! $629.95 Sizes: 150, 154, 156, 158, 162, 154w, 158w, 162w, 166w, 170w Vans Infuse Boot: It’s straight-up a comfortable boot and fits my size 11 perfectly. I like that I can really tweak these to my liking, thanks to the lacing, BOA, and strap combo. It usually takes me a minute to go home after I’m done riding and wearing these to apres is not a problem—it’s all about the comfort. $419.99 Never Summer Swift: A steep, deep, pow slayer! In my experience, this board has consistently made long heli and catboarding runs effortless. The 162cm for me is money! It’s a Cadillac with some crazy power steering and to this day, some of my biggest roosts have come from this board. $649.99 sizes: 157, 162 Ride SUPERPIG: The Ride SuperPig is my “be ready for the unexpected” snowboard. I’m 6 feet tall, 175-180 pounds, boot size 10.5-11. I pull out this bad pig when I’m resort riding and know terrain and conditions can change quickly, like pow turns to groomers, with a couple of wall hits in the pipe before the the ride back up. $589.95 Sizes: 142, 148, 151, 154, 158 Men’s Burton Malavita Re:Flex Binding: Not too stiff, not too soft. I get great response time and a sweet medium flex with the Malavitas. I’ve sped up my buckling time considerably since riding these; the teeth on these buckles secure solidly and removing them is a breeze. $339.95

Never Summer Yutes Youth Snowboard: Due to its name, I’m inclined to buy two of these decks simply so I can overuse quotes from My Cousin Vinny. “Which boards should we ride today, Dad?” my kids may ask. And of course, my answer will be, “The two Yutes.” “The two what?” “The two Yutes!” The Yutes’ best feature is its rocker camber making it easier to initiate turns for the little ones and prevent the dreaded edge catch. $329.95 sizes: 120, 125, 130, 136 Rome Stålefish: I’m starting to see a trend in my selections…surf-influenced powder boards. The Rome Stålefish is no exception. Offered in three sizes, Ståle Sandbech’s pro model board line has the wider nose and swallow tail you’ll want for easy float in deep powder. The tapered tail design allows for quick turns in tree runs, along with a stiffer tail to make landing cliff drops a breeze. With three sizes to choose from, there’s a Stålefish for riders of all ages. And if you’ve never owned a fish-shaped board, this is the deck to expand your quiver. $449.95 sizes: 148,153,157 Arbor Single: Built like a single fin surfboard from the 70s, the Single has a tapered pin tail and wider nose for float in the pow. And like Gerry Lopez or Tom Curren, this board is meant to be ridden with style and flow. $529.99 sizes: 152, 156 Burton Family Tree Backseat Driver: The first time I ever went powsurfing, I had the time of my life. I giggled my down the entire run because I got to experience the joy of relearning how to ride powder. And nothing replicates the feel of surfing more than ditching your bindings, stepping on the tail, and floating down the hill. Whether you’re in the backyard or backcountry, this board will change the way you search for snow. $369.95 size: 140cm

Rome Guild Women’s Binding: Rome bindings ride so well. Every pair I’ve ever had I have loved. They’re super comfortable and incredibly responsive right out of the box, but also have a host of features that you can easily customize to your exact preferences. The Guild is my personal favorite. It’s a perfect combination of response, comfort, and durability, all in a sweet-looking design. $289.95 Burton Rewind: I know I brought it up in the 2022 Platinum Picks, but seriously, get yourself (or your girl) a Burton Rewind. This board is soft, yet snappy; pressable, yet good at turning; fun for cruising, yet stable enough for icy days–it goes in the park but is plenty prepared to handle all-mountain laps (as long as sidehits are on the agenda). $499.95 sizes: 141, 146, 149, 152 Vans Women’s Hi-Standard OG: I love the comfort I can get with a traditional lace boot. The Vans Hi-Standard is straight-out-of-the-box comfortable and no matter how long I’m out on a given day, my feet stay comfy and warm the entire time. Plus, the classic look of the Hi-Standard just doesn’t quit, and the Kennedi Deck signature colorway is particularly rad. $199.99 Arbor Swoon Splitboard: When I was younger, the idea of hiking uphill seemed outrageous. It’s funny how things change; now I enjoy the walk up as much as the ride down, especially when strapped into the Arbor Swoon Splitboard. Stable, snappy, and responsive, this split comes in both camber and rocker versions and employs Arbor’s thoughtful and sustainable manufacturing. $700 sizes: 148, 152, 156
