As the 25/26 winter comes to a close in the Northern Hemisphere, we asked 75 pros what their favorite snowboarding events were to watch and/or compete in from the season so far (there are still one or two spring events to go before the warm weather fully sets in). Plenty of answers rolled in. Our findings are below.

The new event on the block, Rockstar Energy Open, definitely made some waves with riders this year. Not only was it the favorite to ride in from the past winter, but it was the favorite to watch as well. A decent number of responses said it felt like a return to some of the older contests. The Natural Selection Tour and The Uninvited rounded out a large majority of the answers as well. Natural Selection was praised for its solid stream of action and The Uninvited for its importance in the culture as well as a place to see a good mix of veterans and up-and-coming talent. The Olympics, specifically the men’s pipe final and women’s events, were highlighted in a handful of responses, even with the judging dilemma. Red Bull’s Heavy Metal was in the top three for participants enjoying the contest but with a harder-to-find livestream, it fell below X Games and Snow League for a favorite to watch. A handful of the smaller contests kept popping up, warranting their spot on the overall list, with answers like they are all whack, none, and film a part instead being lumped in together.

This is by no means a perfect science (we gave a list of some of the major events as well as opened it up to anything people would like to write in) but we figured it was a solid enough sample to show how some of the top riders in the space spent their time enjoying the contest season.
