The HMNNTR art show at Underdog Gallery in London, England

Last Friday, July 31st, at the Underdog Gallery in London, Schoph and Kyle Maynerd launched the London leg of HMNNTR art show and it went off! An art show slash party showcasing the creative side of snowboard culture with more than just board graphics and top sheets on the wall. The bill of talent included both fresh faces and Legends: Jamie Lynn, Corey Smith, Schoph, MayNerd, Mr.Dvice, Mat Savage, Slycooley, Ben Brough, Iuna Tinta, Jono Wood, Will Smith and was topped off with the stoner rock sounds of Steak smack dab in the middle of it all.

The event was everything you’d expect from snowboarding when we’re not strapped in — From Jamie Lynn leaving his mark on everything he could (including a van parked outside), Steak’s sweaty performance, product giveaways, plenty of beer, hi-five’s, all in a gallery space packed with art and stoked faces. The show pulled in the industry’s finest and wow, these guys know how to celebrate shred and art.

Now with London under their belt and a successful showing in Seattle last spring, the HMNNTR crew plan on keeping their wheels in motion by making stops in more cities, and having a rotating crew of artists from within the industry. So keep your eyes peeled for the next one, and start saving those pennies to decorate your abode — it’s not inconceivable you can walk away with something new to adorn your own wall space.
