Blooom Japan, Blotto

BURTON STREET TEAM ASSEMBLE! Growing together over the years and blossoming alongside director Niels Schack, a who’s who of up-and-comers in the snowboarding world got together for Burton’s newest offering, Blooom. Grace Warner, Ylfa Rúnarsdóttir, Jesse Augustinus, Rob Roethler, Luke Winkelmann and Zeb Powell traveled around Japan, Finland, and beyond to put together 19 minutes of roof drops, rail spots, and tons of snow. From scoring powder right off the road to getting busted by the cops at a street spot in the same day… it looks like it was quite the winter. Full proof above, with filming by Niels, Colton Morgan, and Arthur Couvat.

“Everyone got tricks and made memories, and we all got to be this little family under the same roof across the world. It was nothing like I had lived before and I’m just so happy we got to do this all together. By the end, we had so much footage, and so many memories, and it was up to Colt, Arthur, and I to share this with everyone. We are very excited to present you Blooom, the story of a traveling home pushed by the winds, across sea, land, and snow.” – Niels Schack on Blooom in Issue 20.1
