On Saturday, InkMonstr, So-Gnar, and Larimer St. Tattoo put on one of the most fun Halloween parties I have been to in a while. Maybe except for 2 years ago when Nate D and I had a little Fear and Loathing road trip out to Vegas from Colorado to check out that band The Deadly Seven. Then after the Deadly Seven concert we ended up in the desert outside of town at this CRAZY two-day costume party. It was nuts too, but this party in a sticker factory north of downtown Denver brought together a fun crowd of people that were ready to party it up. Zombie ladies. So-Gnar displayed several art pieces. DJ Bitwise destroyed it. Everyone had super crazy make up. Austin and Anders. These guys kinda blew it dressing up though. Inside of the warehouse. Spacecraft art all over the entryway. With all the parties Reed Silberman throws and his job coaching at Windell’s he tosses free stuff to crowds over 200 days a year. Pabst had free cans for everybody. Adam and Natalie. At some point in the night all these “dancers” showed up and started to get down on the speakers. Kealan and his dancer friend. Wow. Bitwise The next day I woke up early and drove up to Loveland for a little early season riding. I can’t wait to be here after they get a few dumps. Chutes, drops, log jibs, no people. Those are my favorite things and that is what you get here. You can hike out this ridge for a ways and pretty much always get good snow. Still zombied. Day 1. Sunshine is overrated. Pretty pumped. Tex and Kealan telling stories of the zombies from last night. A little early season rope ollie. It started to snow and we had the place to ourselves. There are a few little rollers and jibs on the trail right now. I-70. Won’t need I-70 for Wolf Creek though.
