Jeremy Jones is not only one of the greatest adventurers in snowboarding, but in the world. What we will see in the final installation of his trilogy, Higher, is how great reward comes with significant risk and sacrifice. Leaving a family, placing your body at the mercy of the elements, and putting your friends in the same risk. But “The journey is the reward,” as Jones eloquently states. The culmination of years in the backcountry is going to be one of the greatest films of this generation — we cannot wait to see it.

His environmental advocacy work with Protect Our Winters won him recognition as one of President Barack Obama’s 2013 ‘Champions of Change’.
