Prepare to be puckered. The second annual Kings and Queens of Corbet’s is coming to Jackson Hole and will be going down this week between February 10-16.

Corbet’s Couloir is known as the testing ground for generations of snowboarders and skiers. The second edition of Kings and Queens of Corbet’s will feature riders throwing down like never before.

Jackson Hole has had a robust snow season, and just received 9″ of new snow as of Monday. The contest will run one day this week, on which ever day is determined to have the best conditions.

When: February 10 – 16, 2019
This one day event will take place within a five-day period, on the day that proves to have optimal conditions.

Who:
24 of the world’s top snowboarders and skiers have been selected and will compete for the title, of “King or Queen of Corbet’s.” Each competitor will be granted two runs down Corbet’s with only the best run counting towards the grand prize. Full athlete list here.

Judging:
The competitors will review all of the runs and crown the champion in this peer-judged competition. Athletes will evaluate one another from film with scores based on the following criteria:
-Speed, commitment and degree of difficulty
-Innovative and progressive maneuvers
-Control and stomped landings
