When Sage Kotsenburg won an Olympic gold medal for his creative display of snowboarding as he saw it, he was immediately placed in the international spotlight. Media tours, interviews, late night television appearances, Wheaties boxes, days on end without a reprieve from the country’s infatuation with the long-haired guy with strange vernacular Park City. When it was all over, he took of to Switzerland to ride pow. Simple as that.

Sage is no stranger to filming, but what has changed is his position to expose this side of snowboarding to those who picture a halfpipe lined with people, judges and Navy banners.

The Other Side Project premieres on October 7th, 2015 through XGames.com, but you will be able to find it here on snowboardmag.com
