First Impression. It immediately comes through with tons of stability, stiffness and a more aggressive feel with a traditional camber personality.

Edge Hold. Great edge hold across the board. The biggest highlight was how impressively it held onto a heelside edge. You can really commit to high-speed carves with a lot of confidence and control, and it feels equally strong and locked-in on toe-side carves.

Edge Transition. It delivers a classic traditional camber feel that requires precise input, but for a board this stiff, it’s remarkably quick into turns, enhanced by the 5 mm of taper.

Drive // Pop. The Alternator has a ton of energy. Because it’s stiff, you have to put some muscle into the board, but it gives it right back. It really helps springboard you into the air and has above-average ollie power fueled by the tall camber and carbon.

Nimbleness & Predictability. While switch riding isn’t the main focus due to the tapered outline, it remains surprisingly comfortable riding in both directions.

Stability at Speed. The Alternator really comes alive at higher speeds, feels sturdy and powerful, and offers stability for days. Whether you’re doing high speed carves or hitting larger jumps, it stays composed at all times.

Fun Factor. This is a blast if you like a powerful and energetic board. It’s a board that rewards you for riding hard.

Overall Impression The Alternator combines heavy traditional camber with tons of stability and great edge hold to create a precise, energetic ride. While it’s definitely all-mountain first, it isn’t so directional that it loses its freestyle soul.

Who is this board for? More experienced riders who like covering ground, charging hard, and catching air at every possible opportunity.
