First Impression. Hearing all the surrounding hype for the Turbo edition, I was incredibly stoked to rip this thing around—and it did not disappoint! It immediately establishes itself as a versatile, directional missile that opens up and shines brighter the faster you ride it.

Edge Hold. The edge hold is remarkably reliable and stout. When you set this board on edge, it grabs the snow securely and locks in. It’s snappy and reliable, allowing you to comfortably dive into long-radius carves.

Edge Transition. Edge-to-edge transitions are a noticeable upgrade over the original. Thanks to a slightly narrower waist, the Turbo Gremlin feels significantly quicker, punchier, and more nimble overall. It rolls from edge to edge with minimal effort, making it far more agile when navigating tight spots.

Drive Out of Turns. The core delivers powerful drive and energy when exiting a turn. It loads up cleanly through the arc and snaps you forward into your next edge change with authority.

Nimbleness & Predictability. The narrower profile makes it much quicker underfoot. It behaves predictably across groomers and freeride zones alike, though it still clearly prefers moving fast over slow-speed tinkering.

Stability at Speed. High-speed stability is hands-down the standout feature. It’s built to charge hard and fast without chattering or feeling skittish underfoot. The faster you push it down the fall line, the more composure and poise it exhibits.

Fun Factor. The fun factor is sky-high for anyone who loves high-speed freeriding. Its lightning-quick edge transitions turn simple groomers into a high-octane playground.

Overall Impression The Turbo Gremlin is a high-performance evolution of a fan-favorite silhouette. It takes everything riders loved about the original hard-charging directional attitude and refines it with a faster, nimbler footprint. It is ready to explore every inch of the mountain, from steep bowls to fast groomers.

Where it shines:

  • Terrain: Upper mountain freeride zones, open bowls, and fast, fresh groomers.
  • Speed: Fast to very fast. It truly unlocks its full potential when you let it run.
  • Turn Radius: Prefers long-radius, high-speed carves, but has the edge-to-edge quickness to handle medium turns comfortably.

Who is this board for? Directional all-mountain freeriders and carving enthusiasts who want a fast, stable deck that transitions edge-to-edge with lightning speed and thrives at higher velocities.
