First Impression. Danyale Patterson’s pro model is super lightweight, soft, and immediately playful. The Jibgurl felt nimble and responsive from the very first time I strapped in. As expected, this is a pure jib-oriented deck that is incredibly easy to maneuver—it almost felt like it rode a bit small because it was so effortless to toss around.

Edge Hold. While it felt great on low-angle carving through soft groomers, it’s designed to be forgiving rather than locked-in, which serves its purpose in the park but limits its performance on steeps and hard pack.

Edge Transition. This board is exceptionally quick edge-to-edge. Its lightweight construction and soft flex make maneuvering between features feel like second nature. It’s responsive enough to make last-second adjustments before hitting a rail or popping off a side-hit.

Drive // Pop. The Jibgurl is snappy and energetic. While it’s soft, it has nice pop that makes ollies and quick transitions fun and lively.

Nimbleness & Predictability. This board is a specialist on rails features thanks to its soft and incredibly forgiving construction. It really does exactly what you want it to do, making spins a breeze and it’s a confidence-builder.

Stability at Speed. High-speed charging is not this board’s strengths nor was it designed that way. It’s built for calculated runs through the park and low-angle fun.

Fun Factor. The Jibgurl is a blast. It’s easy to press, quick to spin, and super forgiving. If your goal is to play around the mountain, hit every side-hit, and spend your afternoon in the rail yard, you’re going to have a great time on this board.

Overall Impression A true jib board through and through. The Public Jibgurl is soft, playful, and ideal for the park. It’s lightweight and “pressy,” making it a top-tier choice for those who view the mountain as a giant skate park.

Who is this board for? The JIB GURLS! It’s perfect for jib-focused riders. Great for beginners to intermediates looking to progress on rails, or advanced park riders who prefer technical steel features over massive airtime.

Who is it NOT for? Riders who prioritize carving at high speeds or those who spend their days charging through steep, variable, and choppy terrain.
