Starting on Friday, March 24th, Stratton Mountain in Southern Vermont is the site of the kind of gathering the East Coast hasn’t seen in way too many years. East Street Archives Homesick promises to reunite old friends and connect new ones, all while embracing the love of boarding that brings everyone together.
Over three days, Friday, March 24th through Sunday, March 26th, Homesick is setting the stage at Stratton for both on-hill and off-hill celebration by way of a reunion only the East Coast could offer. On Friday, an OG Downhill will throwback to the roots of snowboarding competition at Stratton.
On Saturday, a classic pipe from the days of US Open yore with 12-foot walls will host Todd Richards, Ross Powers, Jamie MacCleod, Tricia Byrnes, Keir Dillon, Jeff Brushie, Luke and Jack Mitrani, Nick Francke, Shaun White, Dave Spruille, Lane Knaack, Dave Olcott, Nelson Wormstead, Lesley Betts, Maggie Leon, Zeb Powell, John Kramer, Jim Kelly, Rahm Klampert, and many more. They will be vying for bragging rights and injecting heavy amounts of style, nostalgia, and pure radness to the current state of snowboarding at an iconic venue–the main base area of Stratton where the US Open pipe stood originally.
Sunday, Zeb Powell is connecting the dots with an open-to-all rail jam. Building on a winter where rail contests have been firing, bringing this egalitarian opportunity to Stratton will be a show for sure.
Of course, off hill, there is a vintage board display and Witness, a photo show featuring images by Aaron Blatt, Mike Yoshida, Bud Fawcett, Adam Moran, and many more.
