The next round of Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails is set to go off Saturday, September 21st, and attention must be paid. The 2013 installment of H&H marks the event’s 10th Anniversary, with Big Bear Lake, CA once again playing host. The gates open at 9:00am with a cover charge of zero dollars. 40 of the country’s best are showing up to show-off, hitting a course made of 130 tons of ice-turned-snow and an urban-style set of street features.

“The 10th Anniversary is going to be bigger and better than ever,” says Zak Hale. “Bear Mountain is the perfect place to get people excited about the upcoming winter season while showing off this years up-and-coming professional snowboarders.” Judges will include Bear Mountain Professional Team Riders: Joe Sexton, Chris Bradshaw, Scott Stevens and special guest snowboard legend Dave Downing.

If you can drag your eyes away from the epic snowboarding, there will be DJ’s and giveaways from the likes of Red Bull and SkullCandy on-hand for your swag-snagging pleasure.

This winter kick-off party has something for all ages. Guests can participate in fun games and walk away with tons of giveaways from Red Bull, GoPro, Electric, SkullCandy, ThirtyTwo and other snowboard brands at the Vendor booth city located in the Scene. The competition is easily viewed from Bear Mountain’s 13,000 SQ FT deck and world famous Beach Bar located just a few steps away from all of the action.

The competition, presented by Bear Mountain and Red Bull, features 40 top professional snowboarders from all over the country. It will begin at 2 p.m. where 130 tons of ice that has been chipped into man-made snow and creative, new urban-style steel features will be unveiled. These features will be available for the public to ride in the Red Bull Plaza at Bear Mountain this winter.

Hot Dawgz & Hand Rails is free to the public and offers one last chance to get the best price of the year on your 2013/2014 winter season pass for Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. With the option to ride either mountain, you get double the fun for the price of one!
