Tom Sims Retro World Snowboarding Championships

Sims Retro World Snowboarding ChampionshipsBe there.

There are few places where the likes of Shaun Palmer, Terry Kidwell and Chuck Barfoot will strap in alongside Danny Davis, Eric Messier and Mark McMorris, but that’s what makes the Tom Sims Retro World Snowboarding Championships extraordinary. For over 30 years, riders from around the country have decended on Northern California to celebrate the history of snowboarding with retro boards from brands like Barfoot, Sims, Burton, K2, Gnu, and Santa Cruz, hand-dug halfpipes, grand slalom courses and great friends.

Besides having the opportunity to witness Chris Roach throw his signature Grasser, the event is a gathering of people bound in fellowship through snowboarding. This year the Tom Sims Retro World Championships are being held at Boreal Mountain Resort from March 27th–29th, and we formally invite you to join us for a weekend of radness.

You can get all of the information about the event from Boreal’s website and Facebook page.
