Though she came into the Mammoth Grand Prix with a spot to Sochi already cinched, Kelly Clark clearly had no interest in sitting back and taking a breather. Clark threw down and went huge in two back-to-back Olympic qualifiers on Friday, winning both and continuing her domination of women’s Olympic halfpipe qualifiers. Clark has now won 4 for 4 qualifiers, mathematically securing her spot on the US Olympic team after winning the Copper Grand Prix.

Chloe Kim, who is not eligible to compete in the Olympics, is nonetheless in second place behind Kelly Clark in qualifications points, though her ineligibility leaves Arielle Gold in a second place position to make the US team. The pressure is on for the 5th and final Olympic final Sunday, however, as all of the US women are currently capable of mathematically securing a top-three spot in the qualification standings.

In the second contest of the day, Clark rallied after a first run fall and sent a huge second run, earning a 94.0 and her second win. Chloe Kim and Hannah Teter rounded out the top three once again, taking their spots on a podium identical to that of qualifier 3.
