Freeride.cz, the most renowed Czech online magazine focused on extreme sports, celebrates its 10th anniversary and on this occasion going to organize a series of parties in Czech cities. The main program will be a premiere of this yearʼs video project called Snowporning The “10th ”Movie”. Premiere tour will come from 3rd November to 15th December successively in 11 Czechcities, starting with a huge party in Pragueʼs Church club, which is a real church building. At that parties, the whole czech snowboarding scene around the country is going to celebrate together the arrival of a new and hopefully snow-rich season.

Snowboard movie Snowporning The "10th" was produced by online magazine
Freeride.cz and LIP Production, filmed in Europe and the U.S. during the winter season 2009/2010 in a documentary-action style focusing on Czech snowboard scene. Itʼs a continuation of last year Snowporning film, which had over its small ambitions and ultra-low budget a great success not only during the premiere tour, but also streaming on the Internet. Thanks to this success, we decided to film another movie. Snowporning The "10th" Movie is also, as the name suggests, a part of the celebrations of the tenth birthday of Freeride.cz online magazine.
In approximately 30 minute long film is captured snowboarding by top Czech riders. The main
cameraman, editor and author of the film is Radek "Karkys" Karko who stands behind many
successful projects in the field of video / art, mainly under the name of famous movement “Life Is Porno”. Karkys is also a main videomaker of Freeride.cz online magazine. This years Snowporning does not pretend to objectively capture the Czech snowboarding scene as a whole… And we do not want to compete with the world's and european big productions, because of a low budget and skills of czech riders. We simply focused on our traveling, no rider was selected in advance, we were just shooting those who were with us. Snowporning is tuned as a documentary film, full of action, but also interviews, observations, trying to describe as many aspects of snowboarding and the associated travel. Snowporning is not a classic “riders profile” movie, riders donʼt have their "parts". Some of them made only one or two shots, some of them many. The movie was shot in Sweden, Hungary, Czech Republic and the USA.
