So you think you have what it takes to be a sponsored rider?
Well, 2018 might just be your year.
Our friends at Academy Snowboards have just introduced the “Sponsor Me Bro” contest and are officially opening enrollment for up-and-coming riders (ages 14-25) to join the Academy Family and a spot on the coveted regional snowboard team. Over the years the regional team has been home to many of today’s top riders, including the likes of Scott Stevens, Chris Grenier, Nick Dirks, Danimals, Jonas Michilot, and Ethan Deiss– just to name a few.
What will it take from you?
– Put together a two-minute edit of you snowboarding
– A one-minute short video interview on why you believe you should be on the Academy Team
– Send three-minute complete video submission to: [email protected]
Videos are due by February 27th and the winner will be notified by March 15, 2018.
What will you get?
The winner of the contest will earn the right to boast of a position on the Academy regional team, as well as receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the Academy Gathering photoshoot in the spring of 2018. Furthermore, the winner will receive coverage and have their winning video hosted right here on Snowboard Magazine.
So grab your buddies, charge your batteries, and start stacking those clips. It doesn’t matter if you are shooting with your iPhone, Sony dad-cam, or your Grandpa’s Super-8, Academy just wants to see good snowboarding and natural creativity. Get out and get going– time’s a waistin’.
