For the second year in a row, Norwegian Silje Norendal has claimed X Games 2015 women’s slopestyle gold.
Coming from behind in her third and final run, Silje moved from second to the top spot bumping Jamie Anderson into second place and New Zealand-native Christy Prior holding it down in the bronze position.
But progression happened today outside of the podium with Spencer O’Brien sticking the an elusive backside 900 over the bottom jump, or Money Booter as it’s called on TB. Even with Spencer’s skilled jumping it wasn’t enough to earn here a spot in the top three and she finished in a controversial fourth.
Overall the riding that we saw today was packed with progression, with Enni Rukajarvi also attempting a cab 900 on the bottom Money Booter. Looking back at the past several days here at X Games, the future is definitely bright for women’s snowboarding.

Congratulations to Sijle Norendal and all of the ladies that threw down today at X Games 2015 in Aspen.
