“Pretty sure this was a two spot day for the Salomon crew rolling around towns north of Helsinki, Finland while filming for Foyer. I can’t remember exactly. It’s hard to remember when you spend the whole week in the middle seat of a van and really have no idea where you are until you pop out at a gas station to grab coffee and beer or a spot that someone is going to hit. Brendon Hupp (the director) always knew where to go, and that is all that really mattered. But Emma and the crew were pretty determined to make good use of the snow in late March with the winter kind of winding down and a project to still complete. They built this run in on the backside of a new looking office building and she had to hop a fence to line it up. I looked at a few different angles for the feature, and the fish seemed to work best with Emma going back one off the awning/roof and looking under her shoulder. After a few hikes and hops back over the fence to drop and get speed, fueled on Chili Nuts, she laced it up! We drank a few Finnish Long Drinks and went to the next spot. Huge congrats to Emma on the cover! Pretty sick her family and friends got her a cake as well to surprise her. Go watch the full movie to see all the work her and the Foyer crew put in this past year. Can’t wait to see what she’s got up her sleeve next.” – Mark Clavin
